Our Patient  Experiences

Best dentist and dental support team I’ve had in my 68 years.

Dr. Vetter was recommended to me by another dentist around 15 years ago. He had a few other names as well, but she was his top pick. My adult son became a patient as well around 5 years ago and is extremely pleased also. Dr. Vetter is impressively current on techniques and equipment. I’ve had restorative work done by her (fillings and crowns). I’ve had life long problems with teeth grinding, and she is the only one of the three dentists who made a night guard I could wear comfortably. Due to a chronic illness, I’ve had a fair amount of enamel erosion over the years and have now been successful in slowing or stopping that by following her suggestions. In preparing for a crown and several fillings last month, she asked me about any drugs I might be taking for osteoporosis. She knew the risks for particular drugs and discussed them in a way that was clear to me. Throughout my son’s childhood and adolescence, I took him to four specialists to try to solve a problem related to TMJ, which was severely disruptive in his life. She has been the most helpful in lessening the symptoms. I’ve never had a bad experience there. Appointments are on time. She discusses any treatment plan and options ahead of time, and then emails a summary of that along with the cost (which has always been accurate). She has a skilled team who seem to enjoy working there. Parking is available in the building, which is helpful to me. Finally, she is a delightful and friendly person. I don’t suppose anyone exactly looks forward to going to the dentist, but I’ve come closest to that with Dr. Vetter. I’m glad I’m considerably older than she is, so she’s unlikely to retire on me. In my experience, she would be hard to equal.

Best Dentist Visit Ever.

No lie. I’m 55 years old with (guessing) 80+ dental visits across 6 different dentists. Hands down, this was the best.

Last Minute Appointment – Amazing Experience!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Vetter for just shy of 10 years now and have done quite a bit of restorative work with her to clean up ‘strip mall dentist’ work that I’ve had done over the previous 25~ years. Every person in her office is carefully chosen and all treat you with respect. They are helpful and they pay attention to you. Dr. Vetter takes a very personal interest in her patients and what they want from their dentist. Picture going to the gym and hiring a personal trainer, they should generally ask you your health goals, keep track of your habits, put together a plan for you to reach those goals, and then work with you as a partner/trainer for as long as you go to that Gym. That’s the type of experience you get with Dr. Vetter. It’s kind of shocking she can even accept new patients, as you’ll never see her waiting room packed with people waiting like a revolving door of collecting cash. They take their time. If there was a boutique dentist trend, Dr. Vetter’s office would be the model for it.

Best. Dentist. Ever.

Dr. Vetter is amazing. Smart, kind, and an overall excellent dentist. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease – always a great experience! And the office staff is fantastic too!

Excellent care, great communication

As a new patient, I felt cared for and listened to from the very first contact I had with the office. The office environment is calm, and Dr. Vetter and her staff were terrific. Dr. Vetter provided clear information about the procedure I was there for, which I very much appreciated. It was the best dental experience I have had. I have already recommended her to several friends.

Very skilled dentist, pleasant office

Dr. Vetter is a highly skilled dentist, initially recommended to me by my primary care physician. She and her staff are gentle, reassuring, and very professional. I was willing to go “out of network” and pay the slightly higher cost because the care I got in this office was far superior to what I’d experienced elsewhere.

Some things never change

Awesome as always. For an experience that most people dread. Everything about your Office… and your Practice… and your people are professional, courteous, clean, full of good health, and completely comfortable. Love you all… Thanks for taking such good care of me for 20 years now!

Outstanding Service

The best dentist ever! All of our family has been going to Dr. Vetter for greater than 20 years. Her competence and superb care are one of a kind! Even making a home visits to our elderly parent who was bedridden but needed dental assistance!!!!

I had fun going to the dentist

Who has fun going to the dentist? I did! Easy parking and fantastic staff. Dr. Vetter did the most thorough and gentle exam of my jaw and mouth, then a full writeup with photos and x-rays. Honestly, I might just drop in for a coffee with them all. I have TMJ, Crowns, and Fillings, and I feel like I’ll get safe comfortable care from now on. Price was extremely fair and reasonable for time and examination.

Dental health – fun and easy!

I highly recommend Sue Vetter and her team. They’re great at the little things like scheduling and rescheduling without a hassle. And then they’re great at keeping track of cleanings and watching long-term for potential issues — all that adds up to easy dental health. Just visited again yesterday…Janet Jackson and a great array of musical artists triggered several “dental lyrics” to famous melodies.

Best dental office ever!

Another superb visit today for my cleaning appointment, hurray! Have been happily going to Dr. Vetter’s office for excellent dental care for many years, have gladly recommended to friends. Still going there even after moving a ferry ride away to Kitsap County a couple of years ago. Feels like family.

I’m a Dentist and chose Dr. Sue Vetter!

I’m a female dentist myself and practiced for 30 years. I can tell you I am anything but particular. When I retired and moved to Bainbridge Island, WA it was beyond important to me to find the right dentist for my husband and me. I didn’t know any dentists in the area and did a ton of research to find a dentist who aligned with my advanced continuing education, comprehensive treatment goals, and practice philosophies. I searched many of my member associations to start this search and called several offices each time hanging up disappointed. When I called Dr. Vetter’s office and spoke to Jessie I knew I had found the office that ticked all of my boxes. We came in to have our new patient exams with Dr. Vetter and everything was confirmed. Her communication is excellent and her skills are outstanding. We have been seeing Dr. Vetter and her hygienists for 6 months now and I recommend her highly. Her team is incredibly cohesive, communicative and the energy is always upbeat and positive. We definitely made the right choice!

Grinning from ear to ear

When you’re in the right hands, what could otherwise be an unpleasant ordeal turns out to be a delightful experience. Something about the personal touch we get here really makes you feel well cared for.

Highest quality professional services hands down!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Kind and friendly front desk professionals who are accommodating and delightful. Dental technicians who are highly skilled and keep my teeth looking and feeling so healthy. Their leader, a physician who always provides both excellent and thorough examinations along with doing complex technical procedures. I have been treated by Dr. Vetter and her wonderful colleagues for many years and look forward to many more years!

Best Dental Office in Seattle

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Vetter’s for many years, and hope to be one for many years to come. She and her staff are remarkable. Not only do I feel I’m getting the very best dental care each and every time, but I also really enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere the team has created.

I’d give my teeth to a dentist like this…

Sue Vetter and her team have been my dentist for the last 8 years, I would recommend them to anyone and have many times. Great dental care from people who care. The staff is what sets this place apart from the others. Her team is talented, knowledgeable, fun, and friendly which makes it so much better than a trip to the dentist. And this is coming from someone who has spent a lifetime not wanting to go to the dentist. No pressure, no criticism, just good advice, and quality care.

Meticulous care

Dr. Vetter and her team are meticulous, patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly transparent–all things I look for in a good doctor or dentist. I feel respected and well cared for at Dr. Vetter’s office. I can tell the team truly values each patient and all decisions are made with the patient in mind.

12 Year Patient & Will Never See Another Dentist

Around 03-04, I decided I needed a dental cleaning. Didn’t know where to go so I asked a coworker who insisted several times that I see Sue Vetter. I had never heard such a positive referral for a dentist so I had to go but was almost certain this referral was exaggerated. In over a decade of care, I’ve never even debated leaving Dr. Vetter’s practice. I’m not always the greatest patient but Dr. Vetter and her staff are certainly the greatest team!

Dr. Vetter and staff are the best – gentle, thorough, and professional!

Dr. Sue Vetter and her staff make going to the dentist a very relaxing and comfortable experience. The level of care is outstanding. Work done for my crowns were meticulous, I always get compliments on my teeth. Dr. Vetter and her dental hygienists are extremely thorough yet very gentle. I truly have only had wonderful experiences and would highly recommend Dr. Vetter to anyone.

Couldn’t be better

I don’t really like going to the dentist. But I have to say, Sue Vetter and the team are putting a massive dent in 40 years of unpleasant associations with dentists. They’re just the kindest, gentlest, most-communicative group I’ve encountered. And I don’t ever feel like I’m being up-sold on services. I can’t imagine a better experience.

Experts

I’m a new patient and came to Dr. Vetter after many years of dental neglect due to “Sandwich Generation” responsibilities. Within just one month I had the most thorough new patient exam ever, a periodontal cleaning, 2 crowns, a referral for successful endo treatment, and a plan to fully bring my mouth back to health. I was never in pain and every step of the way was undertaken with skill, professionalism, and expediency. I’ve had excellent dentists in the past but this practice operates at a whole other level. Plus, you get to enjoy views of seaplanes on Lake Union.

Our whole family has been going to Dr. Sue Vetter for about 14 years

And there’s no doubt she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had – and, ugh, I’ve had a lot of them in my lifetime. Adding to her vast knowledge and skills, her dedicated attention to detail, and her gentle manner, she’s also a beautiful person who truly cares about her patients and helps design long-term plans (especially with replacing many old, old, very old, amalgam mercury fillings), and shares her research and insights on total well-being, always making me feel like the whole me is being taken care of with each visit.

Dr. Vetter is calm, caring, gentle and a true expert in her field.

I was referred to Dr. Vetter’s office by my orthodontist as well as my maxillofacial surgeon. Dr. Vetter is calm, caring, gentle and a true expert in her field. I cannot recommend her enough. I am thrilled with the restorative dental work I had done as the final step of complex orthognathic revision surgery. My surgical results, both functional and cosmetic, were truly enhanced by the composite bonding procedure that Dr. Vetter perfectly executed on my teeth. I felt informed and educated throughout the entire process. After the procedure, she personally followed up with me on multiple occasions to check in and make sure things were feeling okay. Her entire office, from the front desk staff to the hygienists, are the nicest folks. I am so happy with my smile and genuinely look forward to coming into the office to see Dr. Vetter and her team. If you have TMJ or need restorative work is done (or are just looking for an awesome general dentist), go see Dr. Vetter!
